Best movies of adventure, and horror?

Could you recommend a movie like Indiana Jones? Only thing Indiana Jones doesn't have is something like an Aztec temple, or something like that. And in horror, I don't mean something like The Exorcist or anything like The Ring or Drive me to hell. I want something mysterious, and especially topics like inside a manor house and being haunted by the ghost of your old grandmother. Not comedy like The Haunted Mansion. Something Intense and mysterious, like a Manor, a Gravyard, even an english castle.
