Guys- what do you think?

this guy liked me a lot when we first met. like right off, but i didnt feel the same way. he liked me again a year later, and i did like him back but he wouldnt do anything. i doubted he liked me so i got with his friend. apparently he did like me, but was shy so he cried. but now he got over me and its been a year. we dont really like, sometime a "hi" here and there, but i've been thinking about him ALOT! i really did like him.. should i ask him to sadies?
