I need a pattern for something I'm making for a friend?

Get a large skein of yarn. Red Heart now has extra large skeins, 16 oz. instead of the usual 7 oz. Then make a chain approximately 5 inches wide and single crochet, turn, and continue until you run out of yarn. There aren't too many patterns that can be accomplished only with single crochet.
