In eager anticipation of the complete restoration of "Metropolis" with a modernized soundtrack?

I only recently got around to watching Giorgio Moroder's Metropolis, despite having the soundtrack for a number of years (and being a huge Queen fan!) I loved it!! I think a completely different soundtrack could have the potential to change the film - I thought Moroder's soundtrack added so much to the story, and yet gave it a bit of an '80s feel. It would be like remaking Flash Gordon or Highlander without the Queen soundtracks... I'd like to see an Alice Cooper or Meatloaf song somewhere in a new soundtrack - that would be interesting.
