Ok he is in the hopital witha broken back his wife is caring for him and she finds out about the other woman?

ok my aunt and i are very close and her and her husband have been married for 7 years. Some back story: He sits at home on his a** and draws unemployment while my aunt(cindy) works two jobs to earn enough to get buy. He ignores the daughter they have together and is very unfair towards the son cindy had before they met. Last summer he totaled a brand new motorcycle that did not have insurance on it. Two weeks ago he totaled a second one but broke his back in 6 places and his neck in one place ( he will not be paralyzes just needs rest and a little help). Cindy had to take a break from one of her jobs to take care of him but is still working the second one. She's never been jealous and trusted him 100% but she found a text on his phone saying 'can i call yet?' lo and behold he got a girls number and a gun cl i month ago and has talked to her hours upon hours and texted her almost 800 times this month. He says ''he didn't do anything wrong' and 'i would never cheat on you' but how can she feel sure he hasn't? Since she can't even trust what he says anymore? I feel aweful for her she has done absolutely EVERYTHING for him and this is how she gets repayed? What should she do?
