Ok so does this guy like me, because i cant tell!?!?

ok so i met this guy. we started talking and just saying hi every time we seen each other in the halls. Then he asked for my number. we texted the hole day and decided to hang out during the weekend.so we did. we parked at the lake and just talked for about 2 hours he would be telling me all the time how beautiful i looked. so about 15 mins. before we left he asked to kiss me.. so we did. but see now when were around each other at school hell come up to me and hangout with me during lunch and stuff and when we text well be talking but then hell just stop outta nowhere but when we are texing hell put =] all the time so i don't know if what happened was just because or because he likes me.. i want to ask him but im afraid hell get weirded out.. any advice?
