Why wont my mini-thermo heater ignite its main burners !?

My mini thermo hot water boiler (heater), isn't working.. the pilot light is on, but the main burners wont ignite!! It has only happened today. The way the heater works is, it has a standing pilot light and clicks to light the main burners... PLEASE HELP!
